CR205 Two-Stage Volute Cyclone Dust Collector

Two-stage volute cyclone dust collector combines inertial dust collector and bypass cyclone dust collector. It features high dust removal efficiency and moderate pressure loss with compact structure. It is applicable to flue gas containing dust particles ranging from 20 to 100 microns, ideal for dust treatment of boiler flue gas with abundant coarse particles. The equipment consists of volute, fixed blades and bypass cyclone dust collector.

To achieve concentrated dust separation inside the volute and avoid dust deposition, this collector is not suitable for long-term low-load operation. Tests show optimal dedusting performance and low pressure loss are obtained when the inlet air velocity ranges from 15 to 25 m/s, with the recommended speed of 18 to 20 m/s.

XS type double cyclone dust collector

XS type double cyclone dust collector includes XS-A and XS-B models. As industrial boiler dust removal equipment, it applies to flue gas purification of stoker-fired industrial and heating boilers. It boasts high dust removal efficiency, low resistance, stable performance, large air handling capacity, easy operation, small floor space and economical material consumption.

Working principle: Dust-laden gas enters the large volute. Dust concentrates on the wall under centrifugal force, while airflow diffuses downward and thins during rotation. After rotating 270 degrees, about 15%~20% concentrated airflow with massive dust flows into the small cyclone separator.

The inner residual airflow partly enters the flat volute for further separation in the large cyclone cylinder, and partly mixes with incoming gas through gaps around the core pipe to form new rotating airflow, improving fine dust capture rate.

The two purified air streams converge with exhaust gas from the small cyclone and discharge out of the equipment. Dust is collected separately in ash hoppers under the two cyclone cylinders.
