Bypass Cyclone Dust Collector

    Bypass cyclone dust collectors are classified into suction type (Model X) and forced draft type (Model Y) based on the fan position. Model X is equipped with an outlet volute on the collector body. They are further divided into left rotation type (Model N) and right rotation type (Model S) according to the rotating direction of the volute. 

    This type of dust collector features a spiral bypass separation chamber with a low inlet. Sufficient space at the top forms an upward swirling vortex and dust ring, which is guided to the cone section via the bypass separation chamber to enhance dust removal efficiency. The spiral design of the chamber enables tangential entry of dusty gas into the cone and prevents dust re-entrainment. 

    There are two categories of bypass cyclone dust collectors: semi-spiral XLP/A type and full-spiral XLP/B type.

     Seven specifications are available by diameter: Φ300mm, Φ420mm, Φ540mm, Φ700mm, Φ820mm, Φ940mm and Φ1060mm.

XLP/A type cyclone dust collector

    Bypass cyclone dust collectors are categorized into suction type X and forced draft type Y. The X type is fitted with an outlet volute on the collector body. It is further classified into left rotary type N and right rotary type S by the volute rotation direction.
 
    This equipment is modified from conventional cyclone dust collectors with an additional bypass separation chamber. The XLP/A type adopts a double-cone structure. The upper cone has a large cone angle, facilitating dust ring formation, reducing radial velocity and equipment resistance, and avoiding dust discharge along with purified air.

XLP/B-X type

XLP/B type cyclone dust collector

    The XLP/B type features a single cone structure with a small cone angle. Its elongated cone boosts dust removal efficiency yet brings higher pressure loss.
 
    This dust collector is mainly used to remove non-adhesive dust, coal dust, sediment, smoke and other particulate pollutants.
